What Trident does with data, and where that data sits

Trident runs inside your own Business Central environment. Your charter data stays there. Marvera operates no server it is sent to, and I cannot see it. The only thing that can leave is anonymous operational telemetry, described below. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics.

rev. 30 July 2026

Your data stays in your tenant

Trident installs into your organisation's Business Central environment as an extension. Every charter, schedule line, APA entry, statement and settlement record it creates or reads sits in that environment, under your Microsoft tenant, governed by your own access controls and Microsoft's hosting terms.

There is no Marvera-side copy. I do not receive your business data, do not store it, and have no route to read it. If you open a support case, you decide what to send and what to redact before sending it.

How the fields are classified

Business Central makes every field an extension defines carry a data classification, and the platform enforces it. Trident uses three of them.

Data classification · as declared in the extension
CustomerContentCharter and APA business data: charters, payment schedules, expense lines, statements, settlement records. Yours, and it stays in your tenant.
EndUserIdentifiableInformationThe user IDs on audit fields: who created a record, who changed it, who approved an evidence exception. These identify your own users to your own organisation.
SystemMetadataOperational telemetry: which operation ran, whether it succeeded, how many records it touched. Nothing here names a customer, a vessel, a charter or an amount.

Telemetry

Trident can emit operational telemetry so I can tell whether the software works: the operation type, the outcome, a record count. Every telemetry field is classified SystemMetadata. No names, no vessel or charter identifiers, no monetary amounts, no document content.

That telemetry is the only thing Marvera can receive from a customer environment, and it is the whole of it.

This website

Static pages. No cookies, no analytics, no third-party scripts, no remote fonts, no trackers. The theme button writes one value, trident-theme, either light or dark, into your browser's local storage, and that value never leaves your device. Clear your site data and it is gone.

The pages are served by a static host which, like any web host, keeps ordinary access logs for its own operation: IP address, page requested, timestamp. Marvera adds nothing on top of that and does not read those logs for analytics.
